肥料や農薬を一切使用せず、自然栽培で育てました。葉っぱも綺麗で、ネギのように使えるため葉付きで販売しております。貴錦という品種。肥料に頼らずじっくり育ったので緑の葉もクセがなく、農薬も使っていないので安心してお召し上がり頂けます。

玉の部分は生でサラダにしても甘味があり、農園主はスライスした玉葱とシラスをご飯の上にのせドレッシングをかけて食べるのにハマっています！

葉の部分はジップロックに入れておけば冷蔵庫で一週間程度持ちますし、刻んで冷凍しておけば、味噌汁やうどんなど使いたいときに使えるので便利です！

松山市山越にある「すみれ幼稚園」さんの給食でも昨年の4月より使って頂いています。
※すみれ幼稚園さんは給食の食材をできるだけ無農薬のものにとこだわっておられます。園長先生の「世界中の全ての人が幸せになるように」という思いから始められたというオーガニック給食は今年で3年になるそうです。和泉農園でも園児の皆さんに美味しくて安全なお野菜を食べて頂けるよう心を込めて育てています。
